My New Favorite Show

My new favorite show on TV has to be Shameless.  While it is a remake of a British show it is as real a portrayal of recession ridden America on Television.  A poor white family in Chicago deals with poverty, hunger, a deadbeat dad, crime, and sex whether it be gay or straight.  The show has everything a great cable show needs and More!

THE WHOLE FAM

Frank Gallagher, the drunken deadbeat father played by William H. Macy, has seven kids struggling to make it in Chicago. Frank's 21 year old daughter Fiona (Emmy Rossum/SUPER HOT) is the eldest of 7 who does everything she can to keep the family above water. While Frank and Fiona are the obvious leads of the show everyone in the family has their role to play. One might expect for one of the children to be pushed to the side in a family of seven but everyone provides something to keep the show going. Being that we are only 6 episodes into the show their is still time to catch up and you should do so.
